Singapore Polytechnic (SP) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Republic of Singapore Air Force and received an AS332 Super Puma helicopter to enhance its aeronautical and aerospace diplomas. The helicopter will be used to conduct integrated operations with the Singapore Army and support search and rescue missions, providing hands-on learning opportunities for more than 330 students annually. Students from the Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (DARE) and Diploma in Aerospace Electronics (DASE) programmes will benefit from this practical training in aircraft aerodynamics, aircraft systems, ground support equipment, and avionics.
