Singapore’s artificial intelligence strategy: Applying AI to help – not replace – people

Article featured the five projects under Singapore’s national artificial intelligence strategy. One such project is to use automated systems to mark primary and secondary English language assignments by 2022. SP lecturer Dora Chua, who teaches streaming analytics and the Internet of Things, shared that the artificial intelligence programme will have to be exposed to many English assignments, in all kinds of variants, to have an idea of what constitutes an A or B grade.
