Singapore Toy, Games & Comics Convention: nurturing young artists

Article featured the collaboration between ten SP Diploma in Digital Animation (DDA) students and local comic artist, Mr Johnny Lau. Mr Lau mentored the students with the intention of nurturing them to become outstanding local artists and animators. SP DDA students, Liew Li Qi and Chern Jia Xin were interviewed and they shared about the inspiration behind their comics. They also shared how it was beneficial to learn from Mr Lau. The students’ comics were published together in a newsletter for the Singapore Toys, Games and Comics Convention two weeks ago and a total of 76 copies were sold during the two-day exhibition.
