Students bring tropical fantasies to life at S’pore Garden Festival competition

The Landscape Design Challenge (LDC), a feature of the 2024 Singapore Garden Festival, involved teams of three students from institutes of higher learning. These teams were given approximately two months to prepare for the competition, during which they conceptualised their garden designs and sourced the appropriate plants. The Silver Award went to Team Sol Tropicana – comprising students Chong Kar Hee, Lim Jiin and Cai Zhenning from SP’s Diploma in Landscape Architecture course – for its garden, “Celebrating Tropical Nature: Frames of the Past”.
