Students discussed platform workers issues during Budget dialogue

More than 150 people attended a dialogue organised by M³, a collaborative effort between Muis, MENDAKI and MESRA, at Wisma Geylang Serai recently to discuss on issues following Budget 2023. Among them was the topic of platform workers. SP student Firaz Hilman Harizan would like to join the software engineering industry in the technology or defence sector after graduating but agrees with his friend, RP student Muhammad Ilyas Mohamed Sarip that the income for platform workers is lucrative for those who would like flexible work arrangements. Also mentioned was ITE student Suria Insyirah Suparja who will be continuing her studies in community development at TP.
