Tech For Good attracts nearly 2000 people to help people with special needs

Every year, a festival called Tech For Good that brings together ideas of helping vulnerable people and turns them into products that can be applied in real life. Dr Wilson Qiu, senior lecturer at SP, commented on a design that helps deaf people access speech information when using electronic products by designing facial expression functions. "I personally think this is a very clever idea. As people's conversations are always emotional and we humans are visual animals, adding this facial expression will make the whole application more vivid. It will also allow the listener to better understand each other's emotions,” he said.
