19 Nov 2022

As the new normal sets in, the article mentions how several pandemic-inspired changes have become a habit for some Singaporeans and how other acquired habits are starting to be discarded. SP student Ethel Chang recalled how she felt robbed of experiencing a polytechnic life during her first few months of school back in 2020. She shared that she was not used to virtual interactions with her classmates and lecturers, and tried to socialise more with them when physical classes resumed. In the area of e-commerce, this area saw significant activity as consumers sought to get their retail fix online while being stuck at home and its convenience continues to appeal till today.
