The first Singaporean second officer on a cruise ship

Newsclip featured SP’s Diploma in Nautical Studies graduate Mark Koh, who is currently a second officer on board a Royal Caribbean Cruise. Mark is also the first and only Singaporean second officer in his company. Mark shared how an internship at SP’s Singapore Maritime Academy while he was in secondary school nurtured his passion for the maritime industry. As part of his job, Mark has travelled to countries in North America, Europe and Asia in the past five years. He shared the challenges of his job and his aspirations in the newsclip.
