This swimmer is no ordinary flying fish

Article featured SP student Sun Jinguang, who is aiming to qualify for the swimming events at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. In the past year, he had won a combined total of five gold and two silver medals at the Asian Youth Para Games and the ASEAN Para games. Jinguang was diagnosed with cone-rod dystrophy, which is a condition that causes vision loss over time, at an early age. He shared that he is most comfortable with swimming because of the sense of freedom that it brought him. He trains with his sister, who is also a visually impaired swimmer for the national team.
