Thomson-East Coast Line stage 1 opens by January 2020

Article mentioned that the Land Transport Authority and SMRT have worked with SP to develop a training course that allows staff to be familiarised with work processes and escape routes by using VR. Leveraging on a pair of AI glasses, frontline staff can "show" and communicate easily with backend engineers in the case of an incident, which helps to speed up repairs and resolution of technical problems.
