Article featured SP’s senior media and communications lecturer, Ms Trudy Lim, who was one of the members of Project 459, The New Paper (TNP)’s code name before it was launched in 1988. Ms Lim, who worked at TNP for close to 18 years before leaving to teach at SP, shared about her experiences as a reporter at the tabloid. Currently, her role as a senior lecturer is to train future journalists. She added that the two most important values are accuracy and ethics, while the most important skills are curiosity and resourcefulness.
