‘It felt surreal’

The New Paper, 24 Jul 2016 - Article mentioned that SP’s Diploma in Music and Audio Technology alumnus, Joel Choo, was nominated for the Best Original Music award at the National Youth Film Awards (NYFA) this year. Joel, who was nominated for his work on short film ‘Bake In Action’, is the son of local actor Zhu Houren. A similar story reported in Channel News Asia mentioned that RP student Zachary Ian Tessensohn was awarded the Bert Lighting House Best Lighting award for the drama ‘DISPATCH’. The NYFA is a film-making competition organised by *SCAPE and local film project consultancy management and training company Sinema Media, which aims to establish a benchmark in national excellence and talent identification between the film industry and Institutions of Higher Learning that offer film-related and animation courses.
