Lost an Item

Did you lose an item on campus and want to lodge a report? Please go through the FAQs to find out more.

I am a current SP Student and want to lodge a report. What should I do?

  • Please lodge a Lost Item Report via Student Portal.
    (e-Services/e-Resources > Other e-Services > Report/View Lost Items)
    Please be informed that this Lost Item Report is NOT an official Police Report.
  • Should an item be found that matches your lost item, you will be notified via email to come to Student Service Centre (SSC) at T16 Level 1 for verification and collection

  • You will need to present your NRIC or SP Student Card as proof of identity. For verification purposes, you will be asked questions to confirm your familiarity with the lost item.

How long are items kept?

All unclaimed items will be donated/disposed after 3 months.

I am an SP Staff / Alumni / Member of Public who lost an item on Campus. What should I do?

  • Please visit Student Service Centre (SSC) at T16 Level 1 during office hours to lodge a report. Alternatively, you may contact us as 6775 1133 or email us at contactus@sp.edu.sg
  • Our staff will assist by creating a Lost Item Report for you. Please be informed that this Lost Item Report is NOT an official Police Report
  • To Edit/ Cancel your Lost Item Report, you may send us an email, stating the reason for the change of request
  • Should an item be found that potentially matches your lost item, you will be notified via email to come down to SSC for verifications and collection
  • You will be asked questions to confirm your familiarity with the lost item. Once we have verified that the item belongs to you, to claim the item, you will need to present your NRIC / Passport or Staff Card as proof of identity.

Did you find an item on campus and want to return it? Read on to find out more.

Where can I hand over a found item?

If you find a lost item on the SP Campus, you can return it to Student Service Centre (SSC) at T16 Level 1 during office hours. (Mondays to Fridays, 8.00am to 5:30pm)

After office hours (from 5.30pm onwards), you may hand it over to the Campus Security Office located at the campus entrance at Dover MRT station.

What items are unacceptable?

For hygiene and safety reasons, Student Service Centre (SSC) does not accept:

  • Lost keys
  • Clothing, including coats, jackets/sweaters, hats, gloves, pants/shorts, scarves
  • Food and drink containers
  • Shoe bag and footwear
  • Mugs and cups
  • Umbrella

If you find such an item, we recommend you return it to the place where you found it.
