SP Business School’s winning team earns a Merit at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (Singapore) International Marketing Competition
The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is a leading international body for marketing and business development which provides marketers with best practices, helping them to deliver world-class marketing through training courses, recognised qualifications and the ability to tap into a worldwide network of marketers.
Our students participated in the finals of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (Singapore) International Marketing Competition which was held on Saturday 22 October 2011. The finals saw six local and six international teams from the region in the competition. A cross-disciplinary team from Singapore Polytechnic with students from the Diploma in Business Administration specialising in Marketing Management, and International Business and Trade as well as a student from the Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering was formed. Benny Chew, Faith Ko, James Cheang, Wilson Tan, Gregory Wong and Andrew Welford joined hands to emerge with a MERIT award at the competition.
We are proud that the hard work and effort by both students and lecturers was fruitful. The students were trained by lecturers, Mila Lim and Kenneth Lee. SP Business School’s Director, Dr Timothy Chan presence at the finals was a source of motivation to the students.
