SP Business School plays host to 500 Secondary 3 Students in Outreach Event
"ime@n BUSINESS" - the SP Business School's inaugural school outreach event on 19 October - attracted close to 500 student participants from 10 secondary schools. Our friendly lecturers, Business student facilitators and event partner were on hand to run the fun-filled event. They played gracious hosts and guiding them through an exciting treasure hunt/"Biz amazing Game" to unearth "learning treasures" in the Business School. Prospects of winning attractive prizes and bonding with new-found friends kept the momentum and fun going, as they raced through the school corridors and mazes.
There were "gems" to discover as well, as the school participants began with a profiling exercise - to know their learning strengths and personality traits. They enjoyed course-specified activities lined up for them according to their "newly-discovered" profiles! Students were also treated to business course familiarization workshops to see what education choices suited their profiles.
Tea-break time provided more opportunities for friendships forging over sumptuous spread of food and more galore for the participants. They thronged our special photo booths to capture their happy moods and faces on instant photo-shots, glossed up on our limited edition SP Business School 4R postcards.
Well, at day’s end, our Business student facilitators (SB Ambassadors) bade goodbyes to their young guests as they boarded their buses for home/schools in the evening - bright and refreshing after a fun-filled afternoon. Our SB Ambassadors are proud and happy to know that their hospitality and warmth will be encapsulated in the minds of their young friends - who will be inspired to be like them - to be enrolled as a SP Business School student a few years from now!
