What's Next

Now that you have successfully enrol as a SP student, what is next?

Here are some matters that you should take note before you start class in April.

Date Activity

From end January to early March

All new students (first year diploma and PFP) are invited to take part in the optional Freshmen Orientation (FO) camps.

From end February

(For International students only)

Apply for Student's Pass at Student's Pass Online Application & Registration (SOLAR).

From mid March

Notebook PC - All students will need to own a notebook PC during their study in SP. For more details, visit the Notebook PC Corner.

From end March

Diploma Student Concession Card Application - Visit here for more details.

Orientation Week
(1 week before term commencement)

  • Freshmen Orientation Programme (FOP) - FOP will provide useful information and bonding activities to get all new students oriented in the SP life. Check out the detailed schedule of your School's FOP at the Student Portal (https://mike-student.sp.edu.sg >> New Students).
  • (For International students only) Find out more about the International Students Freshmen Orientation Programme (ISFOP) at the Student Portal >> New Students. 
  • Class Timetable - You will receive your class timetable during the FOP, or you may also check via the Student Portal  >> e-Services).

1st week of School

(For Singapore Permanent Residents and International Students only)

Attend a compulsory Tuition Grant (TG) briefing scheduled on 18 April 2017 (Tuesday), 10am at the SP Convention Centre (SPCC) and submit an online application after the briefing.

The online application (https://tgonline.moe.gov.sg) will open from 19 to 27 April 2017.
