Marine Parade, Remembering the Good Old Days 2015

PAYM Loves Red (Remembering the Good Old Days) is a one-day event to celebrate Singapore’s golden jubilee by reminiscing the past and to commemorate Singapore’s founding father, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. This project was held at the Multi- Purpose Hall of the Marine Parade Community Club on 26 July 2015.

Organised by the second year students from the Diploma in Integrated Events & Project Management (DEPM) in collaboration with Marine Parade Community Club, the students’ role include conceptualising the event theme, conducting pre-surveys and post-surveys to market the event, recruiting and managing volunteers as well as developing and designing of the event collaterals. The students also designed games and activities to cater to the event needs, provide budget estimates and logistic support. The event was successfully executed with 200 attendees and volunteers participating.
