DDM students made a splash in this gruelling Splash Awards 2011 competition that spanned over 5 months. The group comprising Daryl Bradley Tan, Dexter Hong & Loo Yan Wen came in 2nd runner up with a mobile solution to guide tourists and visitors to our Singapore Museums. Called ‘Histoholic’, they have built a prototype that runs in iPhone. Features includes implementation of AR, a game and exhibit selector.
Splash Awards 2011 is jointly organised by the SCS Student Chapter and IDA, it seeks to encourage the development of innovative heritage-based or inspired mobile applications for platforms such as Android, Blackberry, iOS iPhone/iPad, Symbian and Windows Phone. The challenge is based on one of the two broad topics.
