7 August 2013, 3pm....The moment of truth for the final year Diploma in Business Administration (Marketing Management option) students arrived when after months of hard work, the students pitched their marketing plan proposals to Network for Electronic Transfers Singapore Pte Ltd (NETS).
The students were tasked to develop a comprehensive and creative marketing plan for NETS’ stored value card, NETS FlashPay.
There were a total of 7 teams participating in this competition, and the 3 most promising teams were selected for the Finals. Mr. Reginald Wee said, “The Marketing Plan Competition enables our students to work on a real-world marketing challenge, with industrialists involved as judges. It’s a win-win as sponsoring companies tell us that they benefit from the new angles and the creative new ideas that our students come up with.”
