The second run of SP Business School’s event, ime@nbusiness, was held on Tuesday 16 October. The SP Convention Centre was filled with the lively sounds of 125 students from Manjusri Secondary School, Teck Whye Secondary School and Seng Kang Secondary School.
The event opened with our energetic emcee, lecturer Teo Ee Kwang, who led the students in ice-breakers and even competing for the best Gangnam style dancer. They were then escorted to the “serious business” of understanding the different diplomas offered at SP Business School.
Students were allowed to attend two workshops to get a taste of the two diplomas they were interested in. Course teams ran the workshops offering insights on the diplomas and the career prospects for the respective diplomas. Students found the one-hour session interesting and informative. They were excited to learn more about the diplomas and how it would help them in their future. To spice up the day, students were treated to a bazaar organised by the Entrepreneurship students. The bazaar at the T19 lobby enticed students with fashion accessories for sale.
To whet their appetites, a scrumptious array of finger foods and tea was spread out for the hungry but happy students after their workshops. The afternoon went smoothly and both the visitors and SP lecturers were energised by the experience!
