Research projects by students garner top awards

Two final-year student project groups from the School of EEE won the Singapore Polytechnic Best R&D Project Awards.  The students presented their projects at the annual Polytechnic Student Research Programme (PSRP) Awards Ceremony which was held on 10 March 2010 at Republic Polytechnic. This event showcased the top projects carried out by students from the five polytechnics in collaboration with the local research institutes and universities.

The students were: 

    Ooi Jun Han, Loke Yangli and Lim Yen Peng
    Project: Development of micro-opto fluidic tuneable biconcave lens
    Lim Yaw Keong, Tay Soon Loong Hanson and Cho Zheng Xion
    Project: Fabrication of micro-fuel cells
All the students were under the supervision of SP senior lecturers, Ms Low Lee Ngo and Mr Ho Soon Seng, and from the Nanyang Technological University, Associate Professor Nguyen Nam Trung.   Congratulations to the students and their supervisors on their achievement.
