Two poly students did research work on anti-cancer drugs at Max Planck Institutes

The New Paper, 11 December 2012 – Two SP students from the School of Chemical and Life Sciences who are pursuing the Diploma in Applied Chemistry with Pharmaceutical Science were attached to the Max Planck Institutes to research on anti-cancer drugs. The Institutes, a renowned research organization in Germany, has produced several Nobel laureates and former board of directors include Albert Einstein, Peter Debye, Fritz Haber and Werner Heisenberg.

It was indeed an eye-opener for both students who have acquired valuable knowledge and skills in R&D from their mentors. They also received a letter of commendation from the institution for their diligence.
