In the Infocomm Manpower Development Roadmap v2.0 (MDEV 2.0), the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) of Singapore has identified mobile application development as an emerging IT skillset that is critical for Singapore's IT manpower to remain competitive both globally and locally. In view of the demand of skills for the development of mobile applications, the School of Digital Media and Infocomm Technology (DMIT) is launching a Specialist Diploma in Mobile Apps Development.
