The Youth Model ASEAN Conference (YMAC) has brought together youths from across ASEAN and beyond to learn and understand deeply about issues that affect the various member states, since its first iteration in 2011.

Delegates will engage in discussing and debating critical issues affecting ASEAN member states, while working towards creating action plans which solve regional problems related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through a series of workshops, specially-curated panel discussions, authentic ASEAN meeting simulations, and guided project facilitation, delegates will learn about the intricacies of negotiation and regional collaboration, as well as how to apply the Cultural Intelligence Framework in their lives and interactions with others from around the region.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, YMAC will be held again as a fully virtual conference this year.
