Minor 

Students joining SP in AY22/23 will get a choice to do 3 or 5 electives from a basket of electives on offer. Minor will be awarded when a student completes a suite of related elective modules.

Minor in Asia Readiness

The Minor in Asia Readiness aims to foster a global mindset in SP students and equip them with the tools to meet the demands of new challenges in our globalised world. In this Minor, students will learn and apply skills to demonstrate intercultural empathy, appreciate multicultural differences and actively engage to bridge cultural and economic differences.

Minor in Business Management*

 

The Minor in Business Management provides students with opportunities to acquire fundamental knowledge in key domains that exist in typical business organisations and cut across all sectors. 

Revised Minor Requirement (with effect from AY24/25 cohort)

  • The revised minor requirement will be implemented with effect from AY24/25 cohort. Students from the AY24/25 cohort should follow this requirement if they wish to be awarded with Minor in Business Management.

Notes:

  1. Students from DAAA will be excluded from this Minor.
  2. SB, SMA-DMB or ABE-DFM students who have read MS1522, MS7524 or MS3522 are exempted from EP0612; they need only 4 electives to complete the Minor.
  3. Students completing the Minor will have the option to obtain an AI Data Apprenticeship Programme (AIDP) certfication from AI Singapore by completing a data-related internship.

Minor in Entrepreneurship

The Minor in Entrepreneurship will provide SP students with opportunities to cultivate entrepreneurial mind set, behaviours, attributes and competencies that prepare them for the changing environment.

Students are required to complete 4 elective modules and should take the modules listed in A, B, C and any 1 from D as shown below:

1. DBA students who intend to pursue a specialisation in Entrepreneurship should not also take up the Minor in Entrepreneurship.

Minor in Sustainability

The Minor in Sustainability aims to:

i. inculcate in students a holistic approach towards the practice of sustainability at both personal and societal levels;

ii. equip students with the right tools and perspectives in order to contribute to various corporate sustainability drives in the marketplace.
