Istana Carnival, PM celebrates with grassroots leaders

PM Lee Hsien Loong and Cabinet ministers hosted a Chinese New Year carnival on Sunday afternoon, 25 February, to thank grassroots and community leaders for their contributions to the community. According to a press release from the People's Association (PA), this year the PA has partnered with more institutions of IHLs to incorporate environmental protection into creativity. The event showcased the Harmony Hotpot, a large hotpot made from recycled cardboard by SP's FabLab, and the Trees of Abundance, a 2.6-meter-tall tree made from 5,000 red packets by the ITE College East.
