She volunteers to assist elderly, Learning communication to enhance relationship between generations

SP Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering alumna Lin Shiyun, a 29 year old engineer, is also a participant of the EYES programme. EYES is a programme under Youth Corps Singapore that allows young people to interact with and bridge the gap with the elderly through regular phone calls and home visits. Through this programme, she improved her relationship with her grandmother. As part of the programme, Lin Shiyun once took the elderly to the Aero Hub at SP, where they experienced riding in an aeroplane and made "graduation caps" for the elderly to wear for photoshoots.
