Course Introduction
The course comprises of:
a) 1 day of Pre-trip to understand the growth and potential of Artificial Intelligence, and assess your company using the AI Readiness Index. The Pre-trip will consist of 4 hours of face-to-face training and 4 hours of e-Learning.
b) 6 days, 5 nights of Learning Trip* to Hangzhou, China to take part in industry site visits to leading companies such as Alibaba, Cainiao Logistics and more, to appreciate AI technologies and their use cases, as well as learn from companies that have adopted AI solutions to transform their companies. Participants may also have the opportunity to visit the 2024 Hangzhou International AI, IoT & Big Data Expo for exciting showcases and more networking opportunities.
c) 4 days of Post-trip to explore the wonders of Generative AI and kick start a Guided Project. The Post-trip will consist of 32 hours of face-to-face training over 2 weeks.

This course provides a unique opportunity for SMEs for a broad exposure to Industry AI Technologies. SMEs can learn how to appreciate, understand, adopt, and transform their key technical processes in their businesses to i4.0 level. In particular, the course is designed for SMEs that may be classified as ‘AI Unaware’ or ‘AI Aware’ by AISG’s AIRI framework.
The course primarily involves an overseas trip designed to provide a broad but directed exposure to AI Technologies used in the industry and a post-training phase that allows the participants to acquire essential technical skills in AI and apply such skills in a real project via involvement in a project assignment.
- To help participants from companies understand the growth and potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and analytics beyond Singapore.
- To equip participants with knowledge on the AI and Analytics that can be applied in the companies’ technical processes with the aim of improving efficiency in such processes.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the importance and limitations of data, analytics and AI
- Review the considerations in AI adoption in a company
- Assemble different types of industry AI tools available in the market
- Recommend and select ready use case of AI
