SMA celebrates 65 years of excellence in maritime education and training

The start of the year-long anniversary celebrations was launched by SMA Director, Capt Mohd Salleh, in conjunction with the Freshmen Orientation Programme (FOP) on 12 April 2022. The theme for SMA’s 65^th anniversary celebrations is “Steering maritime education and training into the future”. Capt Mohd Salleh recognised the hard work of past generations in his speech, “We have come a long way since when we were first established in 1957. Our strong ties with the industry and award-winning reputation would not have been possible without the hard work of those before us. Let’s recognize the achievements of the previous generations and look forward to the contributions of our future generations including all of you.”
