An Intern’s experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer

Jerald Yeo Shao Jie is a final-year student from the Diploma in Infocomm Security Management (DISM) course, which has been renamed to Diploma in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics (DCDF). He had the opportunity to intern as a Cybersecurity Engineer at NCS. His primary responsibilities included conducting regular Vulnerability Assessments on project systems and assets, disseminating vulnerability information and mitigation steps to relevant teams, and tracking their status. Additionally, he gained valuable experience operating other cybersecurity tools, such as firewalls and privileged access management technologies.
