Code of Conduct

The conduct of delegates at the Youth Model ASEAN Conference (“YMAC” or “the Conference”) reflects on their educational institutions and the Conference. In order to ensure a safe online environment and a professional atmosphere for all delegates, faculty and YMAC staff, and other involved personnel, we have devised this Code of Conduct.

We ask that you read through it carefully, as all delegates are expected to abide by it during the duration of YMAC held online and during any activities or events organised in the context of YMAC. YMAC staff reserves the right to expel delegates from the conference due to unacceptable behaviour and/or infractions as listed in this Code of Conduct.

RESPONSIBILITIES & LIABILITIES

YMAC expects that all conference delegates will:

  1. Be respectful and considerate to all conference members.
  2. Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behaviour, materials and speech.
  3. Speak up if they observe any such incidences as described in (2) or any events that conflicts with this Code of Conduct. If you are being harassed or feel uncomfortable, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact your Committee Advisor-Lecturers immediately.
