16-year-old Archana Chandrasegaran wanted to become a ship captain. She wanted to achieve her dream as well as her late father's dream. She is now in her first year at SP's Singapore Maritime Academy (SMA). She was among the 10 recipients to receive the Tripartite Maritime Scholarship from PACC Ship Managers.
