I'm glad our team completed the Transforming Workforce Learning and Performance with Generative Artificial Intelligence course by Singapore Polytechnic. Generative AI has enabled Lih Ming to better streamline our planning, design, effective costs estimations, and real-time reporting, which has helped to minimise errors and improve our project quality. This course also fostered a workplace learning culture in our team, empowering us to adapt and upskill to lead smarter and more sustainable construction.
We collaborated with SP to standardise SOPs and implement an OJT blueprint to upskill logistics coordinators. SP conducted on-site fact-finding and provided a feedback report defining optimal packaging options. An SOP with detailed instructions was created, improving packaging cost efficiency. In phase two, SP developed a structured OJT blueprint and conducted Train-the-Trainer sessions with on-site observations. This enhanced our in-house training capabilities and reduced the time required for coordinators to be proficient in packing.
SP helped us recreate our OJT to meet current engineering needs. Ricky and his team refined tasks to focus on core support needs. The final OJT blueprint enabled us to reassess training and adapt it to the dynamic industry. The team was responsive and addressed our inquiries effectively, offering fitting solutions. For instance, the initial performance support platform proposal didn’t align with our needs, but through discussions and scoping, they delivered a perfect solution requiring minimal maintenance and cost, exceeding our expectations.
