Teams push the limits of innovation by designing and building small, unpowered bungee-launched gliders that soar the farthest and achieve precision in flight at the Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition.
Category B (Unpowered Gliders) of this competition for secondary school students is led by the School of Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering (MAE) in collaboration with Defence Science Organisation (DSO) and Science Centre Singapore.

The AERO Challenge invites students from various academic levels nationwide to participate in an exciting showcase of aeronautical creativity, innovation and technical skill. This annual event features a variety of thrilling competitions, including FPV drone racing, RC plane challenges and a glider-making contest. Designed to push the boundaries of design thinking, flight mechanics, and teamwork, the challenge offers a hands-on platform for aspiring aerospace engineers to apply their knowledge in a competition setting and further discover their passion in aerospace.

The Engineering Challenge is an opportunity for budding STEM students to unleash their creativity. Participants will design and fabricate artefacts inspired by a given theme, pushing the boundaries of imagination and technical skill. Through this experience, students will cultivate essential skills in problem-solving, drawing, fabrication, communication, and team building.

The National Software Competition (NSC) is an annual event that brings together young software developers from secondary schools across Singapore.
This five-day event provides students with the opportunity to learn new software development skills and apply them in a group-based Hackathon. On the final day, all participating teams will showcase their projects in a gallery walk, allowing participants to present their ideas to attendees, industry professionals, and fellow developers. A panel of judges, including lecturers from Singapore Polytechnic, will evaluate the projects and recognise outstanding submissions.

Embark on a Creative Journey with SPโs Media, Arts & Design (MAD) School.
Be inspired by the works of our graduating students at the MAD Grad Show and gain a first-hand look at their creative achievements through a guided tour. Secondary school students will also benefit from an interactive workshop designed to help them kickstart their Early Admissions Exercise (EAE) portfolio, equipping them with valuable tips and strategies for their applications.
Recommended for Secondary 3 and 4 students with an interest in pursuing media, arts, and design.
