Senior Minister of State for Defence Heng Chee How said the sixth Work-Learn scheme, a tie-up with Singapore Polytechnic, had just been introduced for NSFs to pursue a diploma in Engineering (Mechanical Technology) and be deployed as Naval Warfare System Specialists. Mr Heng said that 450 NSFs have enrolled in these programmes to date. “By 2025, we expect 500 NSFs to be enrolled in Work-Learn Schemes every year.”
