The Singapore Maritime Academy (SMA) is contributing to a safety study on ammonia bunkering in Singapore, led by DNV and commissioned by the Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation (GCMD). SMA's role focuses on workforce training and competency development for safe ammonia handling. It co-developed an advanced IGF training course and continues to support the industry's transition to green fuels.
