SMRT has transformed Punggol Coast station into a futuristic “Digital Village”, featuring a 360-degree immersive screen, AI wayfinding assistant, and cleaning and security robots to enhance commuters’ digital experience. The Digital Village serves as a space for companies and educational institutions to co-develop, test, and showcase digital solutions for commuting challenges. During the launch, SMRT signed partnerships with the DesignSingapore Council, SP’s Media, Arts & Design School, The Songwriter Music College, and the local ensemble Reverberance. This is the second project in SMRT’s “Village” series.
