ST Engineering has opened its Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CoE) supported by Digital Industry Singapore — a joint office by the Economic Development Board, Enterprise Singapore, and Infocomm Media Development Authority — and the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) to develop agentic AI-driven cybersecurity solutions. The facility will grow from 26 specialists to 81 personnel focusing on AI, 5G, OT cybersecurity, threat response and security testing, building on ST Engineering's existing Security Operations Centre expertise for critical information infrastructures. The CoE will advance autonomous AI applications in next-generation SOCs, digital forensics and incident response, whilst providing training programmes at RP and SP to develop cybersecurity talent to thrive in AI-assisted cybersecurity environments and to harness agentic AI.
