Course Objective

To assist persons in management and operational duties for LNG Bunkering using trucks, Bunker Barge, Cassette bunkering or from terminals to the ships, for ships which require LNG as fuel.

To deliver training as per MPA and Singapore Standards Council Technical Reference TR56-2020 in the areas of LNG Bunkering for management and operational staff.

Course Outline

The fundamental knowledge for a typical LNG bunkering operations
• Corporate governance and management systems
• Organisation and management systems
• Familiarity with the operation, calibration and maintenance of equipment and instrumentation
• Control and monitoring of bunkering operations
• Non-standard and emergency operations and related safety aspects
• Commercial aspects of LNG

The course includes bunkering simulation to be attended in SP campus to understand the detailed aspect of handling liquefied gas such as LNG.

Tentatively there will be 1 day of Face-to-Face class depending on the Covid situation.

The lessons will be held online whereas the class/assessment will be F2F on the last day of the course.

Duration:
32 hours / 4 or 5 days 

  • 4 days will be 8 hours daily
  • 5 Days will have 2 of the days with 4 hours classes

• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Completion (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who pass the assessment and meet at least 75% attendance rate
