Transform communities through drama, psychology & meaningful engagement!

In a world where communities face increasingly complex social challenges, better equip yourself to lead with empathy and design initiatives that create real, lasting change. Through this Specialist Diploma in Applied Drama & Psychology for Community Engagement, you will gain valuable powerful facilitation, programme design, and psychological tools to create impactful community interventions. By integrating applied drama techniques with positive psychology, this course helps you understand human behaviour, foster meaningful dialogue, and design programmes that strengthen well-being and social connection.

Key Outcomes

Apply psychological and sociological principles to understand community needs, behaviours, and well-being challenges
Design and manage community engagement programmes using frameworks such as Theory of Change and structured evaluation tools
Facilitate drama-based engagement activities to encourage dialogue, collaboration, and experiential learning across diverse groups
Apply positive psychology principles to develop strengths-based interventions that enhance resilience and well-being
Use applied drama methodologies (e.g. forum theatre, storytelling, devised drama) to reframe perspectives and support social transformation
