Course Objective
The Specialist Diploma in Applied Drama & Psychology for Community Engagement is designed for individuals who are seeking new tools, skills, and perspectives to deepen their impact in their current or future roles. Whether you’re working in education, social services, allied health or community engagement, this course equips you with the practical skills and interdisciplinary knowledge to design and facilitate meaningful community programmes. Drawing on applied drama techniques and positive psychology principles, you’ll learn through a blend of experiential learning, critical reflection, and hands-on projects.
This course prepares you for success in roles across Community Engagement, Education, Volunteer or Programme Management, Social Services, Coaching & Facilitation, Allied Health. Whether you’re strengthening your current practice or expanding into new areas of social impact, you’ll gain the tools, mindset, and confidence to lead with empathy, connect across communities, and design initiatives that truly make a difference.
