Transform Today, Lead Tomorrow: SkillsFuture Human Capital Conference 2025

HCC 2025

This year’s SkillsFuture Human Capital Conference took place at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre yesterday and saw about 800 enterprises, trade association and chambers, and industry partners come together to share insights on career health and adopting skills-first practices to build a resilient workforce.

Co-organised by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and the National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning at Singapore Polytechnic (NACE@SP), with support from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Lifelong Learning Singapore, SkillsFuture Human Capital Conference 2025 marked the culmination of this year’s SkillsFuture Festival that commenced in July.

New Initiatives to Drive Skills-First Practices and Build Workforce Resilience

“Transform Today, Lead Tomorrow: Strengthening Business Through People” – this year’s theme speaks of the important role employers play in supporting the career health of their workforce. SSG and NACE are committed to support companies in strengthening their capabilities to invest in skills-first hiring and workforce development.

In support of Career Health SG, SSG launched a suite of new digital workforce planning tools today, in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Industry and GovTech.

TalentTrack is a free-to-use dashboard that helps employers gain insights on in-demand skills and find training courses curated to their industry and business focus, while TalentTrack+ is a whitelisted collection of commercial HRTech tools in the market. Employers can use these advanced tools to assess each employee’s existing skills, identify skills gaps and obtain personalised training recommendations for their employees.

To help companies build and scale their workplace learning capabilities, the National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning and SSG also launched Chrysalis, a free 24/7 digital platform that consolidates workplace learning resources in one platform. These include On-the-Job (OJT) blueprints, Training Needs Analysis Playbook and micro-learning modules. Companies, especially Small and Medium Enterprises, can access these resources anytime and anywhere, enabling them to adopt workplace learning and foster workforce agility.

Guest-of-Honour, Dr Janil Puthucheary, the Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Education, and Sustainability and the Environment, presented 9 companies with Silver, Gold and Platinum Awards for the Workplace Learning Organisation of Competence, in honour of their exemplary efforts to put in place progressive workplace learning practices and capabilities to drive workforce performance and boost retention.

This year, NACE@SP had the opportunity to put together a Workplace Learning Pavilion, with support from SSG, Lifelong Learning Singapore, Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, the Institute for Adult Learning Singapore, Singapore Institute of Technology, and Temasek Polytechnic.

We were heartened to host SMS Dr Janil Puthucheary at the Pavilion for a learning journey through the exhibits, where representatives from the various NACE centres shared enthusiastically about their available Workplace Learning solutions and their success stories with companies that were positively impacted by incorporating Workplace Learning in their day-to-day.
