Overview SoC’s CITP provides students with an additional semester to explore various diploma options before making their final decision. The program includes three main activities: a course briefing, a diploma exposure program, and a career exploration event. In AY2024, these activities offered students a comprehensive insight into the available courses and career opportunities. This article highlights key insights from these activities.
Course Briefing Held in the second week of school, the course briefing introduced students to what to expect in their first semester. This included a fireside chat organized by the Education and Career Guidance (ECG) department, featuring seniors from the DAAA and DCDF courses. The discussion focused on time management strategies relevant to each course, including techniques like time-blocking and maintaining to-do lists. Seniors shared their experiences with group projects and the importance of starting assignments early to manage time effectively.
