The course will give participants an introduction of the changing environment and the basic needs of industry transformation, so to remain relevant, survive and thrive in these challenging times, as well as to be prepared to embrace changes. The course will introduce a range of emerging digital technologies, focusing on ‘what’ and ‘why’. 

Course Objective

This course aims to give an overview of digital transformation taking place at the workplace, which encompasses some essential technologies. This course will also incorporate insights, methodologies and practical approaches in Singapore Polytechnic’s 4-T Mindset Transformation model to help participants manage change and embrace innovation.

Course Outline

1. Identify the insights, methodologies and practical approaches to manage change and embrace digital technology and innovation at workplace
2. Outline the importance of employing growth mindset at the workplace.
3. List the different digitalisation, emerging and/ or advanced manufacturing technologies
4. Relate the digitalisation, emerging technologies and/ or advanced manufacturing to application at workplace and daily life
5. Apply fundamental technical and digital literacy at work
