The Public Service Commission (PSC) awarded 74 scholarships this year to outstanding students who will serve in Singapore's public service after completing their studies. More than 60 recipients will pursue their undergraduate studies overseas, while others will attend local universities. The scholarship recipients come from 15 pre-university institutions, including junior colleges, integrated programme schools, and polytechnics. Among them is Siva Saadhurva, an SP alumnus, who will read Law at King's College London. At the award ceremony, Defence Minister Mr Chan Chun Sing urged recipients to build strong teams, embrace lifelong learning, and serve Singapore with purpose, while PSC chairman Lee Tzu Yang emphasised the importance of international exposure and diverse perspectives in developing future public sector leaders.
