Seventeen‑year‑old SP student Sarah Marsh will fulfil a childhood dream by performing for the first time in the Chingay Parade 2026 on 27 and 28 February, joining about 60 performers from the Eurasian Association as part of a larger group of around 3,000 participants celebrating multiculturalism and the parade’s “Wish” theme. Sarah, who has trained in ballet since age four and played the Chinese woodwind instrument suona in school, has been rehearsing since late 2025 while juggling her polytechnic studies and part‑time work. Her journey to the parade reflects her long‑standing passion for performance and the effort required to balance rehearsals with academic commitments.
