Despite having dyslexia, Nuryanee Anisah entered NUS and now has a social enterprise that helps more than 70 housewives

Former SP student, Nuryanee Anisah, suffers from dyslexia and took up classes at DAS (Dyslexia Association of Singapore) after school. More than 15 years later, Yanee got a place at NUS to pursue business administration. Now, the 24 year-old has her own social enterprise called Commenhers. The company employs more than 70 housewives and has been engaged by large companies such as H&M and Decathlon. Yanee believes that anyone with dyslexia must have their talent. While studying, Yanee worked with eight housewives, the elderly, and local tailors and this kindled the idea to expand her business. Yanee told Berita Mediacorp that Commenhers had received grants totalling about S$70,000 from several organisations so far, including NUS Enterprise.
