SP alumnus Anand Sathi Kumar is a Colonel in the Singapore Armed Forces, holding the appointment of Commander, 6 Division. He has been coping with vitiligo, an autoimmune disorder which causes patches of skin to lose pigment or colour. Although treatment can help to restore lost skin colour, there is no known cure. Anand mentioned that his condition has never been a hindrance since young and his friends were not disturbed by it.
