The Istana will hold an Open House on 1 November ahead of Deepavali, from 10am to 8pm, but it will be cancelled if the 24-hour PSI reaches the “very unhealthy” range. Visitors can enjoy cultural performances, an evening concert, the Changing of Guards ceremony, self-guided tours, and other activities. Entry to the grounds is free for Singapore citizens, PRs, and migrant domestic workers accompanying families. A highlight is the Istana Stamp Rally, developed in partnership with SP. The student-led initiative encourages visitors to explore different parts of the Istana through activities at designated stops where they can collect newly designed stamps.
