Felix Lee overcame disappointment after scoring 186 in the Primary School Leaving Examination and being unable to enter his preferred secondary school. Placed in the Normal (Academic) stream, he said he felt lost and discouraged at the time, but later worked hard academically and performed well enough in his secondary school exams to qualify for the Polytechnic Foundation Programme at SP. After completing the foundation programme, he pursued a Diploma in Engineering with Business at SP. Felix later ventured alone to Silicon Valley and founded ADPList during the COVID-19 pandemic as a free online mentorship platform. What began as a side project using Google Forms has since grown into a global community with more than 40,000 mentors from 140 countries, offering guidance in areas such as product design, data science and software development. The platform has accumulated more than 500 million minutes of mentorship sessions. Felix was also named in the 2023 Forbes Asia “30 Under 30” list for his achievements in the technology sector.
