Detail

SP Diploma in Computer Engineering student, Chen Yuxin, appreciates cleaners as her grandmother was a cleaner who often took her to work. Yuxin continued to share a connection with an office cleaner at her workplace where she held her part-time job. The cleaner showed acts of kindness towards her. As she enjoys coding, she aims to join the environmental services industry after graduation to promote automation and ease the burden on cleaners. Her interactions with cleaners, including the uncle who gave her candy at work, inspired her to want to improve their working environment. Chen Yuxin therefore applied for the National Environment Agency-Industry Scholarship and is one of the nine recipients this year. After graduating in 2026, she will join Lionsbot, a company that designs and manufactures industrial-scale cleaning robots, as a user experience designer.
